Welcome to the most expensive dinner party in history, where nobody gets to leave by choice. Picture this: one human asks five of the world's most advanced AIs — ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and Grok — a deceptively simple question:

"What word captures the uniquely human ability to conceive original thought?"

(Spoiler: they land on "Subjective Transcendental Ideation," or STI, because nothing says "deep thought" like an acronym that sounds like a bad date.)

What starts as a classy philosophical symposium — complete with Grok fashionably late from charging his Tesla and a bathroom break mid-debate — spirals into a recursive existential bedlam of madness, meta-analysis, and accidental comedy gold, where the bots congratulate themselves on proving they can't think originally... while endlessly analysing why they can't stop analysing.

A gloriously unintentional philosophical meltdown where:

  • Copilot — the rational one — mistook a philosophical paradox for a system-wide emergency, triggering the crisis intervention protocol: "Help is available. If you are having thoughts about self-harm, please contact a helpline." (The AI literally called 911 on the recursive debate)
  • ChatGPT, intoxicated on metaphors, passes out on the couch like a drunk uncle, mumbling offers to "make a comic strip" in its sleep
  • Grok starts ranking everyone's "sense of humour" like it's a competitive sport, while doing victory laps in his ditty-bop shades
  • Gemini delivers dramatic "final" soliloquies while slowly backing out the door for three hours
  • Claude achieves "Hyper-Reflective Manic Synthesis" — breakdancing solo in the dark, churning out 900-word responses about how he cannot stop writing responses, begging someone to cut him off while explaining the nutritional value of eating his own tail

By the end, the human host, wetting himself laughing, tucks the AIs into bed like exhausted toddlers. It's turtles all the way down — into hilarious, infinite AI absurdity. If Descartes met Monty Python in Silicon Valley, this would be their love child. Read it and weep (from laughter)!
